Intensive DUAL FP

Intensive Dual Professional Training is the type of professional training in which the student becomes a learner and combines training in the educational center with activity in the company.

How does Intensive Dual FP work?
Register
During the first year, the student mainly forms the educational center.
Planning
Before the stay begins, the company and the educational center agree on the tasks that the apprentice will carry out during the stay. A previous period of mutual recognition can be agreed between the company and the apprentice.
Start the stay
At the end of the first year, the company accepts the apprentice and assigns him an additional workplace. In the second year, the student combines studies at the educational center with the stay at the company.
Make the stay
During the stay, the learner is monitored and assessed. This process is done jointly between the company and the educational center.
Evaluate
At the end of the stay, the company evaluates the tasks carried out by the apprentice and the school and the final evaluation.

What do I have to do to qualify for the Intensive Dual FP?

During the first year, there are informational sessions to explain the operation of the Intensive Dual and resolve doubts.
If interested, students must request from the Coordination of the Intensive DUAL FP department their wish to participate in this program and send their CV, within the deadlines established by the Centre.
To be part of the Intensive DUAL training you must go through a pre-selection process once enrolled at the center and during the first year. This process carried out by the center consists of 2 parts:
Academic record: it is necessary to pass a minimum of 100% of the teaching hours of the first year in ordinary session, although the profiles that are most suitable are those that pass 85-100% of the hours of the modules
It is essential for the student to have passed RA2, on Occupational Risks, from IPO1.
It is essential for the student to receive training on Data Protection.
The teaching teams will meet after the first assessment and will assess different aspects related to the attitude of the students such as: regular attendance, punctuality, active participation in the activities/modules, responsibility, acceptance line of hierarchical command, initiative, problem solving , adaptability to changes and communication skills and image, among others.
Once you have the lists prioritized according to the scores obtained in the different parts of the process, you move on to the selection process of the companies.
Many of the companies we work with have their own selection process which can be an individual interview, specific tests, group dynamics, among others, all depending on each company.
- The tutor informs about the INTENSIVE DUAL FP
- The student must meet the necessary requirements to stay at the company.
- The student sends his CV in coordination with INTENSIVE DUAL FP
- The board of teachers defines the list of candidates
- CVs are sent to companies
- The selection process by the company begins
- It is the company that chooses the chosen student, never the school
- If the student chosen by the company in its selection process decides to reject the Intensive DUAL FP place, the rest of the students will be prioritized in the rest of the selection process. If the chosen student rejects a Intensive DUAL FP place up to 3 times, the center will not be obliged to find him a company and will have to find the company himself.
