Vocational training has gained relevance in recent years due to its high employability and the high demand for technical profiles. Our Vocational Training programs allow you to acquire the knowledge and develop the practical skills and competencies that companies require.
The Advanced Vocational Training Cycles (CFGS) at La Salle Gràcia have a clear professional orientation based on a balance between technical training and the development of the most sought-after soft skills by companies in any sector and field, such as teamwork, decision-making, problem-solving, organizational skills, and creativity.

At La Salle Gràcia, we train the professionals of the future in different specializations and guarantee comprehensive training, both theoretical and practical. Our Advanced Vocational Training Cycles equip you to pursue your professional career in different fields and sectors such as Administration, Marketing, Social Integration, IT, and Education, among others.

Our centre is located in the heart of Barcelona, in the Gràcia neighbourhood, one of the city’s most vibrant and distinctive areas. Surrounded by culture, innovation, local businesses, and professional activity, we provide our students with an inspiring environment in which to learn, grow, and prepare for the professional world while staying closely connected to the reality of the city.

Educational program, methodology and admission requirements

Vocational Training is a two-year academic program structured into general modules for the subject area and specific modules for the chosen specialization. Upon completion of the program, you will receive an official qualification issued by the Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Sport, recognized nationally and in Europe.
Studying a higher-level vocational training program allows you to obtain technical training through project-based learning, with practical case studies and teamwork in which to apply the theory learned in the different subjects of the course. Furthermore, work placement, or in-company training, is part of the academic program of official vocational training degrees. Work placements are an opportunity to gain specific work experience before completing your studies.
The entry requirements for higher-level vocational training programs at La Salle Gràcia in Barcelona are the same as for any official CFGS (Advanced Vocational Training Cycle). You must have completed high school studies or their equivalent (third year of BUP or the University Orientation Course or COU if you studied under the previous curriculum) or have completed an official intermediate or advanced vocational training program. You can also gain admission through specific entrance exams or if you have passed the university entrance exam for students over 25.

During the pre-enrollment period, we organize open house events so that our prospective students can learn more about our educational methodology, learning model, and facilities. In addition, prospective students can register on our website and schedule a visit to ask questions, tour the center, and receive personalized information.

Center facilities and resources

Our facilities are designed for an immersive and hands-on learning experience in the center’s classrooms. In addition to the physical facilities, we enhance the digital environment and take full advantage of all the opportunities and possibilities offered by new technologies applied to education.

This digital environment will introduce you to the tools and applications used in companies in your sector and allow you to learn about and work with them during your training. Another advantage of the digital environment is the possibility of constantly updating materials and the availability of innovative and cutting-edge educational resources.

Internships and partnerships with companies

Practical training and connections with businesses and the professional world are cornerstones of vocational training at La Salle Gràcia. In all training programs, students complete internships in companies (Work Placement or On-the-Job Training). During this period, you will gain professional experience, apply the knowledge acquired during your training, participate in real-world projects directly related to your area of specialization, and begin building a professional network in your field.

Thanks to our collaboration agreements and partnerships with various companies, institutions, and organizations at the national and international levels, you can complete your internships in specialized and trusted companies where you will learn from and receive support and mentorship from leading experts and professionals.

The Intensive Dual Vocational Training program is the modality that allows you, as a student, to combine training with professional experience by integrating learning in a more in-depth work environment. In Intensive Dual Vocational Training, in-company training can account for up to 50% of the total duration of the program, equivalent to 1,000 hours of paid work experience, through a training contract signed between the student and the company.

You can also participate in the Erasmus+ program and complete your internship in companies in another country, learning new languages or improving the ones you already know, and working in international environments with the support of the Erasmus grant to cover your accommodation and living expenses during your stay abroad.

At La Salle Gràcia, we work with the goal of training the professionals of the future and with a firm commitment to educational quality to guarantee training that prepares our students to successfully face any challenge and reach their full potential, both personally and professionally.

Barcelona is a city with a rich business network, home to many of the most prominent national and international companies. Studying in Barcelona will allow you to join a very dynamic cultural, work and educational ecosystem and will give you the opportunity to do your internships and access jobs in a wide variety of leading companies that are benchmarks in the sector with which we have collaboration agreements and that are located in the city or very close to it.
