The CFGS in Early Childhood Education is structured in two academic years with a complete and updated curriculum. The educational methodology is based on the Learning by Doing model that allows students to learn in a practical way and apply the knowledge acquired in the different modules and address all dimensions of child development in the educational stages from 0 to 3 and from 3 to 6 years.
During the two years of the program you will be able to learn the essential concepts and contents to work as an early childhood education technician. You will learn and train in areas such as cognitive, emotional and motor development, the observation of child behavior, the development of educational proposals or the detection of special educational needs.
In addition to these areas, the educational model and curriculum focuses on developing aspects such as communication, social skills and strategies to promote and encourage the personal growth of children through specific skills such as autonomy, healthy habits and daily routines that promote their well-being and contribute to their development at an early age.
The curriculum includes subjects dedicated to the value of play, creativity and artistic expressions as fundamental educational tools. In addition, content related to the relationship with families and intervention in the community is taught, allowing students to learn the tools and skills necessary to develop their work with a global and complete vision of early childhood education.
The early childhood education project is one of the most important subjects in the cycle. In this module, students will work on the design and development of an educational project where they will have to apply all the knowledge acquired and the experience of training and practices carried out in educational centers.
Training in workplaces or internships in companies is another of the fundamental pillars of current professional training and is especially relevant in the Higher Degree in Early Childhood Education. During the internships, students participate in the dynamics and day-to-day life of educational centers and contribute with their work to the education of children in the classroom.
In the Higher Degree in Early Childhood Education, learning combines theoretical and practical training through exercises and activities, group projects and dynamics to apply theoretical concepts to the reality of the early childhood classroom. This educational model contributes to the development of soft skills or essential abilities for the professional and personal future of students such as observation, planning and organization, creativity, group management, effective communication, autonomy, problem solving and teamwork.
With the CFGS Childhood education you will be able to work as:

We train our students to become complete professionals, and for this reason, in addition to the courses most closely related to early childhood education, the training is complemented with modules where you learn to document processes, analyze children’s behavior and identify possible warning signs that require specialized attention.

Education is a field in constant evolution and the psychological dimension and transformative capacity of educators are increasingly gaining weight and relevance, especially due to their impact on the early educational stages of children. In this program, students learn tools to emotionally accompany children, work on coexistence, manage small groups and offer an environment where they can explore and grow.
The teachers who make up the teaching team of the CFGS in Early Childhood Education are professionals with extensive experience and a professional career dedicated to the educational field. Thanks to their experience working in nurseries, schools, colleges and other institutions and entities related to the education sector, they offer students training applied to professional and educational reality.
In addition to knowledge and experience in early childhood education, the module teachers have experience in areas such as psychological development, psychomotor skills, didactics, attention to diversity, intervention with families and emotional management. The real experience of the teaching team in different educational fields with such varied specialties allows enriching training from a comprehensive perspective, connected to education and the needs of the current education system.
