Superior Technician in Social Integration (Published in RD 1394/2007, of October 29, which establishes the title of Superior Technician in Social Integration).
Do you want to be a senior technician and specialist in the social services sector and work in day centres, open centres, occupational insertion centres, home help, centers with people with sensory, physical, cognitive disabilities…? Would you like to design social intervention projects? Does it motivate you to work organizing and supervising activities in job placement organizations? With our training cycle in Social Integration you will also obtain the title of leisure monitor from the Pere Tarrés Foundation and you will be able to work in social entities, in institutions dependent on state bodies, in NGOs, associations, foundations or set up your own business.

El cicle formatiu de Grau Superior en Integració Social et prepara per treballar al sector social com a educador, mediador, tècnic social o especialista en suport educatiu, entre d’altres. En acabar els estudis obtindràs la titulació oficial com a tècnic superior en integració social, reconeguda i homologada pel Ministeri d’Educació i Formació Professional.
Aquest programa ofereix una formació especialitzada i pràctica a l’alumne amb l’objectiu de capacitar-lo per treballar amb col·lectius en situació de vulnerabilitat, persones amb discapacitat, víctimes de violència de gènere o persones i comunitats amb problemes d’exclusió social. Durant la formació s’aprenen eines, es desenvolupen habilitats i es capacita l’alumnat per transformar la realitat i millorar la vida de les persones mitjançant l’educació, la mediació i la intervenció social.
A més de la capacitació professional i laboral, cursar aquest programa de formació professional també us permet continuar amb la vostra formació i us dóna accés a estudis universitaris relacionats com Educació Social o Treball Social.

The social field requires a series of specific technical, professional and personal skills. The objective of the Social Integration training is to develop these skills in our students through a complete, transversal and practical curriculum.
The training program of the cycle includes modules such as Context of social intervention, Community mediation, Promotion of personal autonomy, Care for coexistence units, Social skills, Socio-labor insertion, Support for educational intervention, Augmentative and alternative communication systems, among others.
This training approach allows you to acquire solid knowledge about social regulations, community resources, special educational needs, group dynamics, mediation techniques, adapted communication, planning of interventions, support for people with disabilities, accompaniment in inclusion processes and project evaluation.
Like all our professional training programs, the learning methodology is active, participatory and based on the combination of theory and practice, creating contexts and opportunities to apply theoretical knowledge in simulations, real projects, group dynamics and practical activities that reproduce real situations of social intervention.
This methodology favors the development of soft skills or soft skills essential for professionals in the social sector such as personal autonomy, empathy, communication skills, conflict resolution, planning and resource management, adaptability or teamwork.
In addition to these skills, students acquire a solid base of knowledge to work with different groups, respond to specific needs and promote their participation and well-being. Likewise, they are trained to design, implement and evaluate social intervention plans, integration projects, occupational or social insertion programs, support for people with disabilities or disadvantaged situations, and community or intercultural mediation.
A graduate in Social Integration at La Salle Gracia is a versatile professional and adaptable to any type of work in the social services sector: administrations, social service centers, reception centers, occupational and professional insertion centers or in programs of prevention and social integration.

You will carry out your professional work in companies in the sector of services to people and services to the community. Your work will be integrated into the work of a multi-professional care and social integration team, together with other professionals.
In addition, the professional figure of the superior technician in social integration is a profile in constant evolution that can develop occupations not clearly specified at present, especially in the nature of intermediate management with responsibility for a team of people.
Upon completion of your studies, you will be able to work in public entities or private companies, NGOs, associations, foundations, institutions for people with physical, mental or sensory disabilities, day and reception centers or social and labor insertion projects and perform a wide variety of jobs as a senior technician in social integration.
Among the professional opportunities of the cycle we can find positions as a technician: social integration technician, educator of people with disabilities, family worker, guardianship assistant, community or labor mediator, monitor of residential centers or open centers, specialist in educational support, occupational insertion technician or social dynamizer, among others.
The CFGS in Social Integration trains students as social integration technicians, versatile professionals, with the ability to adapt and prepared to develop in different contexts and environments and contribute with their work to improving society.
The professional environment in which the work of professionals in the field of social integration is carried out is formed by multidisciplinary teams in which they collaborate with different profiles such as social workers, psychologists, educators, specialists and other technicians in social integration. In these teams, all professionals share the same objective through their work: to facilitate inclusion, promote personal and social autonomy, support people at risk of exclusion or with special needs, and contribute to improving the quality of life of vulnerable groups.
The Higher Degree in Social Integration training cycle at La Salle Gràcia is taught in Barcelona, a multicultural environment, with great diversity and many opportunities to work and face challenges in areas such as immigration, disability, social inequality, unemployment, special educational needs or gender violence.
The practical training and the Learning by Doing methodology are completed with professional internships in centers, services and entities in the social field. As a student, you will have the opportunity to apply the knowledge acquired in real contexts of social intervention, working with people and groups in situations of vulnerability, risk of exclusion, dependency or with specific support needs.
Thanks to La Salle’s collaboration agreements with social entities, socio-educational services, residential centers, community projects and third sector organizations, our students can complete their training in work centers and learn about the day-to-day life of a social integration technician. During the internships, they participate in activities of accompaniment, dynamization, mediation, support for personal autonomy and socio-educational intervention, developing essential professional skills such as empathy, communication, teamwork, conflict resolution and planning social actions.
These internships allow you to put into practice everything you have learned during the cycle, acquire professional experience in the field of social intervention and establish the first links with entities and professionals in the sector.

As part of the La Salle Network, present in more than 80 countries worldwide, our students can participate in international mobility programs. Students in the Higher Degree in Social Integration training cycle, and in the other professional training programs we offer, can do internships in other countries through the Erasmus+ program, gain experience in different markets and strengthen their language skills in other languages.
The students of the CFGS in Social Integration agree on the quality of the training and its application to social reality in a practical and constructive way and quality educational material. The teaching staff and the personalized attention of the student and the accompaniment and support throughout their training are the most outstanding aspects in the opinions of our students.
The job placement upon completion of studies is also one of the most important aspects for the students of the module, with a 91% employability, confirming that the students have acquired quality training and are prepared for work in the social sector.
This preparation is reinforced with internships in social centers, residences, community services through which the sector is known firsthand and skills and competencies in intervention, accompaniment, mediation, support for people with disabilities or vulnerability are developed.
Throughout the cycle, thanks to the practical and experiential methodology and internships in companies, students acquire tools and skills to understand the complexity of current social contexts, intervene in an ethical and responsible manner, and design strategies that promote social integration, community mediation and the improvement of coexistence.

2. OFFICIAL REGISTRATION
To complete the registration process, you must fill in the registration form and have the following documents ready:
Admission Requirements (no minimum grade)
To be eligible for a Higher-Level Vocational Training program, candidates must have completed one of the following academic pathways:
If accessing a vocational training program through the Higher-Level entrance exam, the certificate must indicate which vocational program you can access. You may only register for programs listed in the certificate.
If you passed the entrance exam for a particular Higher-Level Vocational Training program but wish to pursue another, you must take the specific subject tests corresponding to the desired program.
If you obtained an exemption from the specific section of the entrance exam, you could only enroll in the vocational program for which you received the exemption. To enroll in another program, you must request another specific-subject exemption from the Department of Education, provided you can demonstrate professional experience.
If you have obtained a diploma from another Intermediate Vocational Training program (check compatibility with the center).
If you access vocational programs through the university entrance exam for candidates over 25 years old, you must present a certificate proving you’ve passed this exam. Certificates showing only completion of certain university subjects are not valid.
Keep in mind you can simultaneously study a vocational training program both on-site and remotely, provided you don’t enroll in the same credits/modules at both institutions.
If you are already enrolled in the vocational training program at another institution, you must also submit the documents proving your eligibility (degree or entrance exam certificate). Optionally, you can also submit a certificate with final grades to incorporate completed credits/modules into your record. Grade reports or evaluation notes are not valid.
If you obtained an official qualification abroad, you must request the corresponding validation. You will find all necessary information on the Department of Education website.
You may only enroll in a vocational training program if you provide a provisional registration receipt (volant d’inscripció condicional), which must be valid, and commit to communicating the resolution as soon as you receive it from the Department of Education.
No diploma will be issued without recognition of the qualification granting access to the vocational program.
As a student at La Salle Gràcia, you can apply for different grants and scholarships for your professional training. The Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Sports annually publishes the call for scholarships for post-compulsory studies, known as MEC Scholarships and Erasmus+ scholarships for your internships abroad.
In addition to these scholarships, we offer different payment methods to facilitate access to training for students, regardless of their economic situation.
