The general objectives in the early childhood education stage are:
- Know your own body and its possibilities of action.
- To relate to others through the various forms of expression and communication.
- Observe and explore the natural, family and social environment.
- Gradually acquire autonomy in their usual attitudes.
Movement allows us to know and explore the world around us.
Psychomotor sessions are based on body movement through collective games, individual play, symbolic play, directed games, free play… We work on movement control, global and segmental coordination, balance, orientation in space and time, laterality…
Not only do bodily or physical capacities come into play, but also emotional, cognitive and relational ones.
